With the advancement of automotive technology, the light source of the lamp has gradually developed, and LED has some new applications in the field of signal lamps and in the field of headlights. The known LED signal lights are front-mounted, single LED light sources, as well as light pipes, LED light sources and light pipes, and light guides. At the "3rd China Lantern System Development Forum" hosted by China Automotive Consulting Center, Wang Dan from the National Automobile Quality Inspection Center (Xiangyang) explained in detail the national standards and related information for vehicle lamp detection.
According to Wang Dan, the standards used in China and the Australian standards are all developed in accordance with European standards, and the Australian standards are still lower than the Chinese national standards in some respects. The standard for automotive LED headlamps is 25991. Its content is basically the same as that of ECE-R112, and the detection method is the same. In terms of light distribution performance, the light distribution performance of the LED headlamp should meet the requirements of illumination and glare. When testing, the LED module of the headlamp should give it 13.2V voltage, and the aging should be performed before the test. In terms of color rendering, the standard requires that the content of the red component of the LED should be greater than or equal to 0.05 in the entire visible range.
For LED lamp detection, due to the LED light source and luminosity, chromaticity, and temperature sensitivity, a certain stabilization time is required before photometric measurement. In terms of test voltage, LED front fog lamps, headlights and signal lamps all have a clearly defined test voltage, followed by corrections for the light distribution measurement. The current standard is that the headlamp and front fog lamps require a correction of 0.7. (Zhou Lingyun)
