The meaning of thermoplastic replacing thermoset plastics

1.Thermoplastics become soft and even flow when heated, and harden when cooled. This process is reversible and can be repeated and recycled.
In thermoplastics, resin molecular chains are linear or branched, and there is no chemical bond between them, which softens the flow when heated.
The process of cooling and hardening is a physical change.
 2. Thermosetting plastics can soften the flow when first heated, and when heated to a certain temperature, the chemical reaction will be cured and hardened by one-crosschain reaction. This change is irreversible.
It is with this characteristic that the moulding process is carried out, using the plasticizing flow at the first heating, filling the cavity under pressure, and then solidifying into a product of definite shape and size.
This material is called thermosetting plastics.
The resins of thermosetting plastics are linear or branched before curing. After curing, chemical bonds are formed between the molecular chains to form a three-degree network structure, which can not only be remelted, but also be dissolved in solvents.
Phenolic, formaldehyde, melamine formaldehyde, epoxy, unsaturated polyester, machine silicon and other plastics, are thermosetting plastics.
Thermosetting is a chemical change, and when you're heated, the structure changes and you change into something else, like an egg that's cooked and you can't recover.
And thermoplastic is a physical change, it's just a change in the state of matter being heated, but the structure is not changed, it's plastic.

It also creates a huge waste of resources.
Alternative meaning:
1. From the perspective of production and processing: thermoplastic materials can be easily completed in the general injection molding machine without restrictive conditions
2. From the perspective of product design: the original product design of thermosetting materials is monotonous, and the product is mostly designed from the perspective of performance, which is transformed into the combination design of product appearance, performance and adhesive with soft glue, so as to achieve multi-dimensional, multi-color, divergent and flexible design and face the competition of changeable market.
3. From the perspective of production environmental protection and recycling: the production process will not release harmful gas, and the leftover material can be recycled 100%, and will not cause pollution pressure to the environment.
4. From the perspective of economic cost: the unit cost of a thermoplastic material with performance replacement with a thermosetting material may only be about 20%-30% higher than that of the original thermosetting material, but in general, the benefits of a thermoplastic material are far greater than the excess unit cost of 20%-30%.
